The Platform

Cold plasma, engineered for industry.

A controllable, scalable, low-residue treatment platform designed to fit modern industrial workflows — not disrupt them.

01 · Fundamentals

What is cold plasma?

Plasma is the fourth state of matter — an ionized gas containing free electrons, ions, and reactive species. "Cold" plasma is generated at near-ambient temperatures, which means the chemistry happens without the heat that limits where conventional plasma can be applied.

The result is a treatment medium that is chemically active but thermally gentle. It can interact with surfaces, particles, and flowing media without damaging temperature-sensitive materials or leaving behind chemical residues.

02 · The NanoGuard Approach

Indirect treatment. Engineered for scale.

Most early-stage cold plasma work has been built around direct exposure in controlled lab settings. Our platform was designed differently — for industrial throughput, operational integration, and the realities of commercial deployment.

Architecture

Indirect treatment

Reactive species are generated and delivered in a controlled, separated architecture — supporting safer operation and uniform exposure.

Throughput

Built for scale

Designed to operate at the cycle times and volumes that real industrial facilities require — not just lab benches.

Tunable

Application-adaptive

Process parameters are tunable per application, letting one platform serve multiple industry use cases.

03 · Practical Benefits

Why this matters operationally.

Low- to no-residue

Treatment without the chemical residue trail that drives compliance and disposal costs.

Non-thermal

Compatible with heat-sensitive materials that would degrade under conventional thermal processes.

Reduced chemistry

Lower reliance on toxic fumigants, chlorinated chemistry, and aggressive sterilants.

Operationally safer

Designed for working environments where worker exposure and PPE burden matter.

Workflow-ready

Engineered to integrate into existing industrial processes, not replace them.

Future-aligned

Positioned ahead of tightening environmental and worker-safety regulation.
